What we set, why, and the choices you have.

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on recido.app, the website operated by Zintle Technology. It supplements our privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page views or visits.

Cookies on this website

Strictly necessary

  • recido_cookie_consent— remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we don’t ask on every page. It holds only the value “granted” or “denied” and expires after 180 days. It is set only when you make a choice in the cookie banner.

Browsing the site, joining the waitlist and using the contact form do not set any other cookies. Our fonts and images are served from recido.app itself, not from third-party font or image services.

Analytics — only if you accept

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use. It is off by default: the Google Analytics script is not loaded, and no analytics cookies are set, unless you select Accept in the cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors; expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID> — keeps the state of your current session; expires after 2 years.

Google processes this data as described in Google’s privacy policy. We do not use analytics data for advertising.

What we don’t use

No advertising cookies, no social-media tracking pixels, and no cross-site tracking.

The Recido app

The Recido mobile app does not use cookies. It keeps your login tokens in your phone’s encrypted secure storage and some preferences in local storage on your device. See the privacy policy for details.

Changing your choice

  • Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to accept or reject analytics at any time. If you reject after accepting, we delete the Google Analytics cookies we can reach and stop loading the script.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
